    Is it a permanent closure

    Irish asked 21 days ago

Hi and thanks for contacting Council. Farnborough beach is open 24/7 and at this stage there is no view to close the beach to vehicles. Council along with the Reference group are proposing a masterplan for Farnborough Beach which includes an alternate access further north of the Bangalee Residential area and the resort. Once the masterplan is finalised, it will be available to the community for input and feedback. thanks so much

A link can’t be found for the survey, eg regarding beach closure. If there is no link and hard to navigate sites etc people don’t get a fair opportunity to have a say!!! This is counsel/government just taking more away from the people!!! Criminals

Is it really that important to be able to drive on the beach? I sure think it is great, that the council close the beach for driver during the turtle season. There has to be some strict rules for driving on the beach!

Will LSC listen to other interest groups or individuals on this. The access was there before most of the residents bought in. Please leave the beach available

    Farles asked 2 months ago

Good Morning and thanks for contacting Council. In regards to the future of the Farnborough Beach the Bangalee Beach Access Reference Group is made up of various community group representatives as well as 3 residents of Bangalee.
