Livingstone Shire Council is inviting passionate volunteers to join the Australia Day Awards Committee 2025!
As a committee member, you’ll play a crucial role in celebrating and honouring the exceptional contributions of individuals and groups in our community.
The committee is responsible for reviewing nominations across a variety of categories, reflecting the diverse achievements of our community in 2024. These categories include:
- Sports & Recreation
- Arts & Culture
- Business, Innovation & Corporate Social Responsibility
- Rural & Agriculture
- Community
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
Nominations for the 2025 Australia Day Awards will open on Thursday, 21 November 2024 and close at midnight on Sunday, 15 December 2024. Committee members will conduct nomination reviews in the following week.
