The Barmaryee Multisport Precinct is a popular and well frequented council facility, home to many sporting groups and host to a range of events, competitions, and other activities each year.

The precinct currently caters for the region's touch football, junior rugby league and school aged netball competitions. Council has been approached by additional groups who have expressed an interest in relocating to the Barmaryee Multisport Precinct in the near future.

It’s important for us to carefully plan for growth at the Barmaryee Multisport Precinct to ensure existing groups are accommodated and have options to expand, while new opportunities are also made available for other sports or clubs. Council needs to be appropriately informed and prepared to seek external funding and, where possible, allocate internal budget to accommodate the growing needs of the Barmaryee Multisport Precinct in coming years.
