Expression of Interest: School Holiday Program Activities
We’re inviting local community and sporting groups to be part of Council’s upcoming School Holiday Program by submitting activity ideas or project proposals.
Our School Holiday Program attracts strong participation from local families, and we’re looking to partner with community groups to deliver fun, engaging, and meaningful activities for young people across the region.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Showcase your group to a wide local audience
- Attract new members and volunteers
- Generate income through paid activities (where applicable)
- Build connections with families and the broader community
- Promote the great work you do
We welcome a wide range of ideas — from come-and-try sessions, workshops and clinics, to creative, educational or recreational activities.
If your group has something to offer young people these school holidays, we’d love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for
Activities that are:
- Suitable for school-aged children and young people (primary school and high school aged)
- Safe, inclusive and engaging
- Delivered during the school holiday period
- Led by experienced or capable facilitators (Blue card holders)
- Delivered by groups that hold relevant insurance

Council will review submissions and work with selected groups to finalise program details.
