Entries for the inaugural Love Livingstone Street Flag Contest closed on Friday, 19 April, with over 120 submissions received.

This year’s submissions encompass a diverse array of visual art forms, including photography, digital art, painting, illustration, and printmaking capturing the essence of Livingstone Shire through six distinct themes: Nature, Active Living, Arts and Culture, Community, Connection, and Resilience.

After careful consideration, a panel of volunteer community members has selected 30 finalists, with five designs representing each of the six themes. Now, it’s your turn to have your say and vote for your favourite design.

You can support your preferred entries by selecting up to 6 designs (one from EACH theme) below.

The designs that receive the highest number of votes in EACH of the six themes will be declared the winners. These winning designs will be transformed into 30 street flags and installed on street flag poles throughout Yeppoon CBD to enhance the Shire's spirit and beautify the civic centre.

Voting is open for two weeks, from Monday, 22 April, until 5pm Friday 3 May 2024.

The Love Livingstone Street Flag Contest invited Livingstone artists of all ages and abilities to share their creative vision of Livingstone Shire through a diverse range of artistic mediums.
