Livingstone Shire Council has secured $13mil in Commonwealth Government funding under the Community Development Grants program to deliver a new swimming pool and other facility upgrades for the Yeppoon Aquatic Centre situated at Cooee Bay.

The planned enhancements include a new 50m pool, a modern amenities block, shade structures, all-ability access, and a welcoming entrance and landscaping.

To facilitate these exciting upgrades, the Yeppoon Aquatic Centre will be temporarily closed to the general public from mid-September 2024, with construction expected to begin in late October 2024 and lasting approximately 12 to 18 months.

To help us better understand your needs and preferences during this construction phase, we kindly request your participation in a short online survey to help us understand what alternative aquatic venues you might attend during the closure of the Yeppoon Aquatic Centre, such as the Don Ireland Swimming Complex in Emu Park.

Please take a moment to complete the below survey and let us know your thoughts.

Thank you for your continued support and patience. We look forward to welcoming you back to a new and improved Yeppoon Aquatic Centre soon.
